I was born organized.
Don’t laugh. From a very young age, I liked my bedroom just so. I constantly reinvented to make my spaces look—and feel—more put together, tidier, ever efficient. But by nature I am also adventurous. I like to move and shake and see what’s beyond the next bend.
I built a career around this: As a storyteller, I write about outdoor adventure, but must edit with an eagle eye to make a story sing. As a content strategist, I apply an intuition for structure by putting words where they should go in digital spaces. By organizing the physical parts of my life, I unconsciously free up space to dream, to dare, to go, to seek. This juxtaposition is my essence, my balance, my life.
Remember reinventing? And the next bend? Today, I’m editing real spaces, the environments that make you more you—and by helping organizing them—me more me. I think you’ll like the result.

Home organizing for humans
We’re human and our spaces are personal—and organic. The judgment-free sustainable solutions I design are different for every person, every project. And that’s the fun of it.
As much as I’m compelled to declutter, I’m equally drawn to deconstructing the nature of people in their spaces. I minored in anthropology: the science of human beings “through time and space and in relation to physical character, environmental and social relations …”
Well, that’s my jam.
I see home organization as a microcosm: an anthropology of place. Yours.
As your editor-in-chief, my job is to uncover how you live in your home, how you flow through your day and how you can create efficiencies to find harmony. That’s why I do this work.
Real-life edits: Clients share their stories
“I give a big endorsement for Julie’s home editing! Julie helped me organize my basement closets before I was having new floors installed. She was incredibly helpful figuring out how to prioritize and declutter when I felt pretty overwhelmed by nostalgic “stuff.”
Julie helped me see where I was getting stuck and she compassionately, yet firmly, showed me how to move forward toward emptying the empty nest. If you or anyone you know needs help organizing, I highly recommend contacting Julie.”
“Admittedly, I didn’t think I was a person that would hire an organizer. However, after Julie came into my space, to my pleasant surprise, I realized that four eyes are better than two.
She saw things that I didn’t see. I can honestly say at the end of the process it was great growth for me personally to allow someone to help me—and the bonus is now I have this beautifully curated space to enjoy. Julie’s aesthetic is beautiful!”
“I can’t say enough about my positive experience with Julie. Tackling my home office was a project that I had put off for months due to immense overwhelm. In just a couple sessions, Julie helped me prioritize what was important in my space, joyfully let some things go and repurpose items from other places in my home.
I am grateful for her follow-up action plan that will keep me on track and already looking for the next space to “edit.” I feel so much lighter and happy each day when I enter my work space!”
