sustainable home organizing

I was born organized.

Don’t laugh. From a very young age, I liked my bedroom just so. I constantly reinvented to make my spaces look—and feel—more put together, tidier, ever efficient. But by nature I am also adventurous. I like to move and shake and see what’s beyond the next bend.

I built a career around this: As a storyteller, I write about outdoor adventure, but must edit with an eagle eye to make a story sing. As a content strategist, I apply an intuition for structure by putting words where they should go in digital spaces. By organizing the physical parts of my life, I unconsciously free up space to dream, to dare, to go, to seek. This juxtaposition is my essence, my balance, my life.

Remember reinventing? And the next bend? Today, I’m editing real spaces, the environments that make you more you—and by helping organizing them—me more me. I think you’ll like the result.

Home organizing for humans

We’re human and our spaces are personal—and organic. The judgment-free sustainable solutions I design are different for every person, every project.

And that’s the fun of it.

As much as I’m compelled to declutter, I’m equally drawn to deconstructing the nature of people in their spaces. I minored in anthropology: the science of human beings “through time and space and in relation to physical character, environmental and social relations …”

Well, that’s my jam.

I see home organization as a microcosm: an anthropology of place. Yours.

My job is to uncover how you live in your home, how you flow through your day and how you can create efficiencies to find harmony. That’s why I do this work.

How it works

Whether you are a maximalist or minimalist, my process will explore what’s really keeping you stuck—and how to create a more sustainable way to live with less in your home. You’ll learn tricks of the trade, starting with master decluttering. We’ll cover “shopping” your own home, maximizing your vertical spaces, the one-touch rule, Swedish death cleaning, even experiencing ikigai. Are you ready?

Intake interview

Type or tell me about you and your stuff. How do you feel in your home now—and how do you dream of living more organized?

I’ll use this current snapshot to help you re-envision how you relate to your things.

Onsite consultation

Let’s see your space! I’m a kinesthetic learner, so I need to be inside it to know how your home flows and what it means to you.

Together, we’ll pick one project to tackle first—either an easy win to build momentum or a stuck spot that you’re ready to reinvent. Either way, we’ll uncover patterns that let the stuff of life overwhelm us—and why.

Declutter days

Gotta do it. I’ll help you cull life’s contents, make decisions, prioritize and gently send away everything that doesn’t have a purpose or bring you, wait for it, joy.

This is a fresh, more sustainable start to the rest of your life.

Action plan

Once we can physically see the possibilities in your space, we’ll build a plan for working together to start organizing in a sustainable way— creatively using what you have—and keeping clutter from creeping back.

Maintain & sustain

When that first project is complete, it’s time to track how you’re using your reimagined space, what new challenges might be presenting themselves, how organizing has changed your perceptions, what practices you can apply to other areas of your life … and what comes next.
